I began to participate in Blipfoto as a way to share my experience in Southwest France - and I soon become hooked. I gather that is not uncommon. I am interested in what catches my interest in a day, and then as well the choice of what to post - what governs my choice? It is usually related to my interest in painting, which is generally the abstraction of shapes and forms, often of industrial origin, but the natural world is just as easily an inspiration. I like to title them in French because: 1. I love the language and although my working knowledge is at the simple level, it is fun to enlarge my vocabulary this way. 2. I don't like titles much, so this is an interesting way to play with that naming of a moment, a blipfoto mome...
