About me
Originally a country girl I moved to rural Canterbury, New Zealand, 14 years ago, after living in cities all of my adult life. My time now mainly revolves around my garden, in which fruit and vegetables figure largely.
Joining Blipfoto is a big thing for me. I've never done anything like this before.
Since the day, some 60 years ago, when my father handed me his Box Brownie and asked me to take a photo of him with the rest of the family, I have been hooked. I must have taken thousands of photos over the years, most of them pretty mediocre, but sometimes I get lucky. While no great shakes in technical skill I try to stay in tune with the world around me. I don't pick the flowers.
