About me
Well thats a bit of a lie to start with... Stromness? a city? Nah, its a tiny little town, nestled between the hill and the shore on the west mainland of Orkney. Its one of those wee oldy-worldy places that you either love or hate - and there are days in equal measure when I do both.
Of course, I'm not from here, I'm one of those people who has come to Orkney and made their home here, for better or for worse. The isolation and the lack of trees plays on my mind from time to time, but the huge skies and the open landscapes can make up for it in some ways.
I'm not a photographer, I dabble. I take the very occasional decent shot, and a gazillion pictures which just aren't that great. I try though, and I'll be trying here.
