I have been interested in photography since childhood. My father was a press photographer and I gained a lot from him, although I never did quite understand all the technical bits!

I lost a bit of interest for a while with film but then I bought my first digital compact in 2002 and photography is now my passion and main hobby. I use a Canon Powershot S5IS bridge camera most of the time and I am very impressed with its abilities. I am finally beginning to understand apertures, shutter speeds and ISO so hopefully my photography will continue to improve.

I love landscapes and nature and enjoy doing close-up work.
