About me
I am starting out in photography. I have had a Nikon D40x for a few years, but am only just realising what potential an SLR has for creative photography. I had been just snapping shots of the kids and the odd day out, but after a couple of chats with some pals who do photography professionally and a read through of several books I thought I'd get more adventurous. The shots I see online are inspirational and the sheer volume of talent out there is overwhelming.
I spent a little money on a few extra lenses, and have found that overall the 50mm 1.4 is my favourite - didn't think a fixed prime would be the one!
