Why film?
The action of loading the film, the careful consideration before taking each and every shot, the cocking of the shutter, the winding of the film, the waiting for them to be developed. I currently shoot with two medium format cameras, a 1950'S TLR Yashica D, and a 1930's Zeiss Ikon Nettar.
