I retired from the Fire Brigade in October 2008 after 32 years service and now live in the beautiful South Lanarkshire countryside in Scotland with my wife, horses, sheep, chickens, cats and my wee dog, Titch.

I have plenty to keep myself busy and among my hobbies are Taiko drumming, horse riding, archery and photography. I have also recently started to learn to play piano......this has caused my brain to melt on more than one occasion, but it's all worthwhile.
